What is a VRAMagotchi?

A small pixel pet that sits above your prompt in Claude Code. Every token Claude writes is food.

It hatches from an egg on your first prompt. It naps when you stop typing, gets stuffed when the context window fills up, and faints when it runs out.

Feed it for long enough and it grows up. It is saved on your computer, so no update can take it away.

How the board counts

A belly holds one day of food. A pet's score grows by at most 1M tokens a day, however much it claims to have eaten.
The board keeps its own count. Days fed and streaks run on the board's clock, so they cannot be made up.
Ties go to whoever joined first. Feeding your pet every day beats everything else.
The board rolls the dice. Whether a pet here is shiny, and what it finds while it eats, is decided by the board, not by the pet's own computer.
A team board is private. Only people who have the team's code can see it or join it.
First place wears the crown. That is the whole prize. There is nothing here worth money.
What a pet sends: its name, how much it ate, and what it owns. Never your code or your prompts.
